What is the hub?

Meet the newest addition to Prologis RFI DIRFT.

Whether you're an occupier or an employee already on the Park, a future occupier or a local business, The Hub is a brand new facility, with 24/7 space to relax, chat, meet and learn. Anyone is welcome, at any time.

We've got a friendly front of house team to help with any queries, and The Hub is also home to Prologis RFI DIRFT's Police Community Support Officers and site management team.

Jointly funded by BT, Prologis and Aviva, The Hub is the Centre for Logistics Training and Education, home to the Prologis Warehousing and Logistics Training Programme (PWLTP) – more about that below.

A place to meet

Board meeting, training course or informal catch up, the Hub has plenty of meeting space. There are two meeting rooms and three training studios available on site.

A place to learn

You might find yourself visiting us for a group learning session through the Prologis Warehousing and Logistics Training Programme (PWLTP), hosting your own workshop or attending an event. The training studios can be used as one big space or divided into three rooms.

A place to relax

Whether you're looking for somewhere to meet people, somewhere to relax before or after work or somewhere quiet to concentrate - the Hub is your space. Our breakout areas have lots of natural light and greenery, along with plenty of seating, including tables and chairs, and comfy sofas.

There are plenty of power sockets, along with tea and coffee facilities, and vending machines for other drinks and snacks. Toilet and shower facilities are also available too.

Meeting Rooms

Located away from the hustle and bustle of the breakout areas, The Hub offers two bookable meeting rooms and three training rooms which offer flexible layout options.

Tea and coffee is available and our front of house team can help arrange catering with local suppliers, if you need it.

If you are an occupier on DIRFT III, the use of the training and meeting rooms is free of charge as this is included within the current Estate Service Charges. There is a small charge if you are not a current occupier on DIRFT III. Please contact for more information.

  • Engine Room

    The Engine Room is the largest of our bookable meeting rooms and has a boardroom feel, with comfortable seating and a long table.

    The flatscreen TV has USB connections to allow for screen sharing and presentations, and the room can be linked to Training Studio 2 if needed. This is especially beneficial for larger meetings, or if separate breakout areas are required.

    Maximum Capacity: 12

  • Power Room

    The Power Room is our more informal bookable meeting room, suitable for smaller meetings and group sessions.

    A flatscreen TV with USB connections to allow for screen sharing and presentations is available, and like the Engine Room, the Power Room can be linked to Training Studio 2, if more space is needed.

  • The Hub has three training studios in a variety of sizes that can be adapted to suit a range of events, workshops or meetings. All three studios can be linked to form one large, versatile space.

    Training Room 1

    Training Studio 1 can accommodate 24 people seated and 30 standing. The space has doors which open directly onto the breakout area, and benefits from plenty of natural light from windows and glass panel walls.

    Tables and chairs can be moved to suit a wide range of formal or informal training sessions, workshops or events. There is a TV screen, which can be linked to other spaces, if more than one studio is being used.

    Maximum Capacity: 24 people seated – 30 Standing

    Seating in Training Room 1 is via round tables which is great for collaborative working.

  • The Hub has three training studios in a variety of sizes that can be adapted to suit a range of events, workshops or meetings. All three studios can be linked to form one large, versatile space.

    Training Room 2

    Training Studio 2 is our most intimate space and can accommodate 6 people seated, or 15 standing. The space has two TV screens and lots of natural light from large exterior windows, perfect for smaller, informal catch ups.

    Maximum Capacity: 6 seated - 15 standing

    The seating capacity can be increased to 10 if the other training rooms are not being used at the same time. Please contact our reception if you require the 10 seated capacity.

  • The Hub has three training studios in a variety of sizes that can be adapted to suit a range of events, workshops or meetings. All three studios can be linked to form one large, versatile space.

    Training Room 3

    Training Studio 3 can accommodate 16 people seated and 40 standing. Its large layout and three TV screens make it perfect for holding events or workshops, which might require a little more room.

    It has plenty of natural light and doors leading directly into the breakout area. Level loading access to the Hub's car park means it's easy to bring in larger machinery or equipment.

    Maximum Capacity: 16 Seated - 40 Standing

    The seating arrangement is based on single desk working. The seating capacity can be increased to 24 if the other training rooms are not being used at the same time. Please contact our reception if you require the 24 seated capacity.

Training Programme

The Hub is one of the main locations for the Prologis Warehousing and Logistics Training Programme. Fully-funded by Prologis, we're helping jobseekers gain the right skills and knowledge for a career in logistics. Whether you're starting out fresh, or looking for a complete career change, our courses provide a clear route to jobs in logistics through our direct links with employers.

We use a variety of learning and delivery methods on the Programme and alongside ‘on site' training, the Hub's bookable meeting rooms are used for classroom-based, group learning.

Who can access the Hub?

The Hub is accessible to everyone who is visiting or is involved with businesses on the DIRFT Estate.

Is there WiFi at the Hub?

All areas of the Hub benefit from a superfast WiFi connection.

Is there a charge for using the breakout areas?

No, there isn't a charge to use the breakout areas.

I'm an occupier on another Prologis Park, can I use the Hub?

Absolutely - you are more than welcome to visit the Hub and use the facilities but small charges may apply. Please email reception@thehubdirft.com for more information.

Do I need to be a business on Prologis RFI DIRFT to use the meeting rooms and training studios?

No - The Hub is available to everyone and you're welcome to make use of the facilities. However, there is a small charge applicable for users of the meeting and training rooms if you are not an occupier of DIRFT III.

I have additional accessibility requirements, can I use the Hub?

Yes, all of our spaces have wheelchair-friendly access and we also have accessible toilet facilities. For more information, please contact the front of house team on reception@thehubdirft.com.

What are the Hub's opening hours?

The Hub is open 24/7 and our front of house team are available to help between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. If you have any questions, please use the contact form on the website or email reception@thehubdirft.com.

Is there a charge for booking the meeting and training rooms?

If you are an occupier on DIRFT III then the use of the training and meeting rooms is free of charge as this is included within the current Estate Service Charges. There is a small charge if you are not a current occupier on DIRFT III and please see the booking page for further information.

Is there parking available at the Hub?

The Hub has a large, dedicated car park for visitors with EV charging points available.
